Will I still get a place at College in September 2020 if I don’t sit my GCSE exams this year?
It has been confirmed that GCSE exams will not take place this academic year, however, students will still receive results in August but how GCSEs are to be assessed is still uncertain at this time. We are doing all we can to ensure minimal disruption for our current and prospective students and we will be working with your school and following all available Government advice to ensure that you can start your studies at St Mary’s College as smoothly as possible.
Is it still possible to have a college interview?
Our dedicated Admissions team are offering over the phone interviews, so we can conduct interviews and secure your place with us over the phone. If you have already applied or were unable to attend a previous interview our team will be in touch by phone shortly for an over the phone interview.
Is it too late to apply for September 2020 entry?
Our online application form is still available on our website and you can submit your application here. We still have places available on a range of our A Level and Vocational Courses. After we receive your application we will be in touch to arrange your telephone interview.
What can I do to prepare for starting College?
Our most important advice is to continue with your GCSE work for all your subjects to ensure that you are up to date with all of your work and as prepared as you can be for starting with us in September. You can also read about our A Level and Vocational courses here which can help you feel prepared to start your studies.
