Easter Relaxation at the Chaplaincy

In the week leading up the Easter Holidays, the chapel here at St Mary’s has been transformed into a space of self-guided reflection and a relaxing place to have a quiet moment away from the hustle and bustle of college life. There has been the opportunity to reflect and pray through the different stations or simply sit and enjoy the tranquil music.

Our ‘Wall of Hope’ has invited students and staff to look at the stresses of life and how to live more joyfully, along with our ‘Pray for the World’ station which has given the St Mary’s community a chance to pay homage to the places in the world close to their hearts.

Within the chapel, our alter is set up to light candles for those we have lost along with a letter writing station and the chance to either write a letter to God or an encouraging letter to your future self, or both!
