St Mary’s College student Alisha Alli will soon be taking her place at UCLan to study medicine after receiving her fantastic A Level results.

Alisha, ex- Head Girl at Tauheedul Islam Girls’ High School in Blackburn, received an impressive 3 A*s in her results securing her place at UCLan. Having studied A Level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at St Mary’s College Alisha said “I’m so excited to start my studies at UCLan, it is the next exciting step in reaching my future goals.”

Alisha has a clear passion for medicine and healthcare, finding time to undertake a variety of work experience posts including volunteering at a local hospice and the Royal Blackburn Hospital.  

Commenting on her experience at St Mary’s College, Alisha said “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at St Mary’s College. I always found my lessons interesting and varied. I would like to thank the teachers for being so supportive, approachable and helping me follow my dream.”
