Studying Business and Finance

Business is a very popular subject at St. Mary's and we provide three distinct courses for students.

The National Certificate course is for students who want to spend the majority of their time studying the subject and enjoy the continual assessment of coursework. We also offer a National Certificate/Diploma at Level 3 which lasts for one or two years and successful completion of the Diploma would qualify students for a Business course at university. In addition students may take a Level 3 AS/A Level Business Studies course.

In addition if you wish to boost your GCSE profile you can take a Certificate in Personal Finance at Level 2 in one year. This is equivalent to one GCSE.
